Whisper painting has seven nearly faceless women in a darkened room, as attesting to “the power of womanhood.” Although the room is dark, a door is open in the painting, revealing a light – a symbol, perhaps – that a better life lies outside and these whispering women are about to make a break for it.
“You will notice in my paintings women are posing beautifully and not doing hard labor,” They look relaxed and still. They are appreciating life with beauty and strength.”
Overcoming hardships and obstacles in her life, I have persevered with optimism, living in the moment and practicing.
